Kermit-11 for RT-11/TSX-Plus, V03.62-8, 27-Jul-93           ABSTRACT for DECUS

This is an updated version of Kermit-11 for RT-11 and TSX-Plus (KRT) featuring
the following additions, improvements and fixes:

  o More robust error handling
  o Boundary checking to avoid overwriting various buffers
  o Time stamps, event durations and error handling added to DEBUG logging
  o On-line HELP text greatly expanded, nested wildcarding support added
  o Smaller program roots, in fact, as small as possible
  o KRT now supports RT-11 V4 and includes its own "KM" comm handler
  o User will be notified of DCD loss during a file transfer
  o Reported vs. actual text file size from foreign systems now accommodated
  o Countless spelling, syntax and gammmar errors have been fixed
  o Linkable for separate I&D space under RT-11 V5.6
  o Call-back modem support added
  o Numerous small things fixed, see V03.62 Release Notes appended to KRT.DOC

KRT will be useful to anyone using RT-11 V4 and up, or TSX-Plus V5 and above.
It has evolved into an extremely reliable communications program, and remains
actively supported as well.
