V01.21 22-Sep-92 Version 1.21 modifies the TCPIP packet parameters to get around an error in the Wollongong FTP Server (Version 5.2-04). The Wollongong server appears to disregard the maximum data segment size specified during the opening of a connection. Files dfault.h and endrvr.mac were modified to specify a standard maximum packet size of 1514 bytes rather than the limited packet size of 1466 bytes. An internal memory allocation bug in DECUS C does not report an error if not enough memory is available when opening files. Therefor donot enable TCPIP packet dumping (a diagnostic) and session logging simultaneously, one or both of the files will be of zero length or corrupted. The Internet address required by the mail program is specified as username@internet-address rather than @username:internet-address.
