To add a new disk's firmware image, you can either: a) choose the filename according to the convention, [SCSI Product ID, 8 chars max].IMG (e.g.: st34573w.img), or b) update the dwnldus.hlp table with a new entry and filename. To add an entry to the table in dwnldus.hlp, add lines to the table in dwnldus.hlp with the following information: (See the "SEAGATE" and "WangDAT" examples.) Then "copy /b dl.exe+dwnldus.hlp download.exe" to update the program. Now copy the new download.exe and the new *.img file to the diskette. You may have to delete other firmware images to allow enough space. Note that to get disk firmware for NCR Symbios RAID devices, you should go to ftp://diskt1.sandiegoca.ncr.com/pub/released/drive/.
